Polar Electro has built heart rate monitors in Kempele, Finland since 1977. The Pacer Pro is their dedicated running watch with built-in Running Power measurement: no chest strap or footpod required. It measures effort in watts using GPS, accelerometer, and heart rate data, accurate to within 1% of chest strap readings. 35 hours GPS active, 7 days in daily use.
